Quest New Plymouth offers 41 modern Studio, One Bedroom and Two Bedroom self-contained apartments. Conveniently located in the heart of the CBD, across from the City Shopping Centre and a two minutes walk from great restaurants and cafés.
The best thing about Quest is that you pay for a hotel room but in actual fact you get an apartment. This means extra room to relax, work and live. All rooms have full kitchens (oven, hot plate, microwave, large fridge etc.), modern bathrooms and a private laundry with powder provided. We even had a spa bath in the room… Heaven!
On arrival Tony took us for a tour of the property and shared his extensive knowledge on the services and facilities that Quest offers. One of the things that I noticed sets them apart is that they really do go out of their way to ensure that ‘home way from home’ experience. Pantry Shopping is a unique service, which allows Quest guests to place a grocery shopping order prior to arrival so that Quest can do the shopping on each guest’s behalf. The best apart about this service is that there is no extra costs- guests receive their receipt and pay exactly what they would have in the supermarket.
We stayed in a One Bedroom apartment, which accommodates up to four guests with a queen size bed in a separate master bedroom and a double foldout couch in the separate lounge area. The room was very spacious and comfortable and Tony and Michelle were great hosts providing us with onsite car parking, high speed broadband Internet, breakfast packs and Sky TV.
They also booked us into Andres L’Escargo, an award-winning restaurant for its New Zealand Beef and Lamb since 1996. My meal was mouth watering and the service was very friendly.
Prices start from $135 for a studio apartment and $170 for a one bedroom apartment.
